The Moonitics are an improvisation group that works on creative exercises as well as original skits and role-playing games. The group presents a great way of expressing your creativity and cutting loose for a couple of hours.
Its healthy to laugh, and being encouraged to make mistakes collectively in a safe space helps to reduce social anxiety. Participants say that they leave sessions feeling better than when they arrived.
Improv is for anyone, not just "crazy, outgoing types". The exercises are easy to understand and participate in, and there is no pressure to perform because the emphasis is on the process, not the product.
Moonitics meets on the first and third Monday of the week in the lower level of the Wild Rose Moon at 7pm, and is listed in the "Upcoming Events" section of our home page. Feel free to stop by and watch, and if it feels right, you may join in at any time.
