The Wild Rose Moon Performing Arts Center is a nonprofit listening room, production house, and educational center serving Northern Indiana and lower Michigan. “The Moon” hosts nationally touring musical acts in an intimate environment, and produces The Wild Rose Moon Radio Hour, a monthly program that airs on 88.1 WVPE Public Radio, and WNIT Public Television. Interns and volunteer learn production skills related to event promotion, media production, live performance, and stagecraft, and go on to populate the next generation of skilled producers. The Wild Rose Moon is funded primarily through member contributions, community grants, and ticket sales. 

We strive to be an active partner in the educational, economic and cultural development of our regional community by inviting discovery, creativity and learning through engagement with the performing arts.

To serve as a cultural icon and a leader in the advancement of arts education, enhancement of the quality of life, and promotion of civic and cultural development in the community, the region, and beyond.

Service: Strive to enhance the civic and cultural lives of the citizens of our community, to provide excellent stewardship of our resources, and to display the highest level of ethical behavior to ensure everything we do preserves the trust of our community.

Education: Advance arts education through ongoing programs, outreach, and partnerships. Contribute to the continuing scholarship of the arts and arts education by growing relationships locally, regionally and nationally.

Inclusiveness: Provide a welcoming environment for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Inspiration: Stimulate enjoyment of the performing arts and media production, and encourage participation in programs that develop skills and appreciation of the arts.

We are partnered with WVPE public radio, WNIT public television, Marshall County Tourism, Marshall County Community Foundation, Plymouth Chamber of Commerce, Indiana Arts Commission, 1st Source Foundation, Gibson Insurance, Community, and Foundation of St. Joseph County.
